1. Purpose of This Policy

This Affiliate Fraud & Abuse Policy explains prohibited affiliate conduct, fraud prevention rules, abuse monitoring, commission review, payout review, and enforcement actions related to MRNMarket’s affiliate program.

This Policy is intended to protect MRNMarket, Users, Sellers, Buyers, Affiliates, Payment Processors, and the Platform from fraudulent referrals, misleading promotions, commission manipulation, fake traffic, brand misuse, and unlawful or abusive affiliate activity.

This Policy applies to Affiliates, applicants, promotional partners, creators, influencers, publishers, marketers, agencies, referral partners, and any User who participates in or attempts to participate in affiliate activity.

2. Relationship With Other Policies

This Policy should be read together with:

  5. Affiliate Brand Usage Policy;
  6. Affiliate Disclosure Guidelines;

  9. Payment & Payout Policy;
  10. Payment Review and Release Policy;
  11. Acceptable Use Policy;
  12. Communication Policy;
  13. Prohibited Products Policy;
  14. Intellectual Property Policy;
  15. Platform Rules & Governance Policy;
  16. Privacy Policy;
  17. Cookie & Tracking Policy;
  18. Definitions Policy; and
  19. other applicable MRNMarket policies.

If this Policy conflicts with the Affiliate Agreement or another controlling MRNMarket policy, the controlling policy will apply.

3. General Anti-Fraud Rule

Affiliates must not engage in fraud, abuse, deception, manipulation, circumvention, or unlawful conduct.

Affiliates must not attempt to generate commissions, referrals, clicks, conversions, traffic, accounts, Orders, leads, or payouts through false, misleading, automated, unauthorized, abusive, or prohibited methods.

MRNMarket may review, deny, reverse, reduce, delay, hold, or withhold commissions where fraud, abuse, invalid activity, policy violations, chargebacks, refunds, cancellations, or compliance concerns arise.

4. Prohibited Referral Activity

Affiliates must not generate or attempt to generate referrals through:

  1. fake referrals;
  2. self-referrals where prohibited;
  3. duplicate referrals;
  4. household or related-party referrals where prohibited;
  5. fake accounts;
  6. account farming;
  7. bot traffic;
  8. automated signups;
  9. proxy traffic;
  10. VPN abuse;
  11. traffic laundering;
  12. click farms;
  13. incentivized signups where not approved;
  14. forced signups;
  15. misleading signups;
  16. identity manipulation;
  17. fake buyer activity;
  18. fake seller activity;
  19. fake affiliate activity;
  20. or any other referral activity that does not represent genuine, permitted user interest.

5. Prohibited Traffic Sources

Affiliates must not use prohibited traffic sources, including:

  1. bots;
  2. scripts;
  3. automated traffic;
  4. click farms;
  5. incentivized traffic without approval;
  6. paid-to-click networks;
  7. traffic exchanges;
  8. malware traffic;
  9. adware traffic;
  10. spyware traffic;
  11. phishing traffic;
  12. spam traffic;
  13. fake social media traffic;
  14. fake engagement networks;
  15. misleading popups;
  16. forced redirects;
  17. unauthorized browser extensions;
  18. unauthorized toolbars;
  19. domain parking traffic where prohibited;
  20. adult or exploitative traffic where prohibited;
  21. gambling traffic where prohibited;
  22. illegal or sanctioned traffic sources;
  23. or any traffic source prohibited by MRNMarket policies or applicable law.

6. Cookie Stuffing and Tracking Abuse

Affiliates must not manipulate cookies, tracking pixels, referral links, attribution systems, or analytics systems.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  1. cookie stuffing;
  2. forced clicks;
  3. hidden links;
  4. invisible pixels;
  5. auto-clicks;
  6. automatic redirects without clear user intent;
  7. pop-under cookie drops;
  8. iframe cookie drops;
  9. misleading buttons;
  10. tracking hijacking;
  11. affiliate link injection;
  12. browser extension manipulation;
  13. attribution theft;
  14. overwriting another Affiliate’s referral without genuine user action;
  15. manipulating attribution windows;
  16. or any attempt to receive credit for referrals not genuinely generated by the Affiliate.

7. Fake Orders, Refund Abuse, and Chargeback Abuse

Affiliates must not create, encourage, facilitate, or benefit from fake Orders, abusive purchases, refund manipulation, or chargeback misuse.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  1. fake Orders;
  2. test Orders intended to trigger commissions;
  3. Orders placed using stolen payment methods;
  4. Orders placed with intent to cancel;
  5. Orders placed with intent to refund after commission credit;
  6. chargeback manipulation;
  7. refund manipulation;
  8. return abuse;
  9. coordinated Buyer-Seller-Affiliate fraud;
  10. commission generation through non-genuine Transactions;
  11. using false identities;
  12. manipulating delivery or dispute processes;
  13. or any activity intended to generate commissions without legitimate marketplace activity.

8. Misleading Claims and Deceptive Promotion

Affiliates must not make false, misleading, unsupported, or deceptive claims.

Prohibited claims include:

  1. guaranteed earnings;
  2. guaranteed refunds;
  3. guaranteed delivery;
  4. guaranteed Buyer Protection;
  5. guaranteed Seller verification;
  6. guaranteed Product quality;
  7. guaranteed safety;
  8. guaranteed payout;
  9. guaranteed approval;
  10. false discounts;
  11. fake urgency;
  12. fake scarcity;
  13. misleading pricing;
  14. false “official” claims;
  15. unauthorized “best” or “top” claims without support;
  16. misleading comparisons;
  17. fake testimonials;
  18. fabricated user experiences;
  19. false legal, tax, financial, health, or product claims;
  20. or any claim not authorized or supported.

Affiliates must accurately describe MRNMarket as a marketplace technology platform unless MRNMarket provides different approved language.

9. Brand Abuse and Impersonation

Affiliates must not misuse MRNMarket branding or impersonate MRNMarket.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  1. creating fake official MRNMarket pages;
  2. impersonating MRNMarket support;
  3. registering confusingly similar domains;
  4. using confusingly similar usernames or handles;
  5. creating fake login, checkout, payment, verification, legal, or support pages;
  6. unauthorized trademark bidding;
  7. misleading display URLs;
  8. fake coupon pages;
  9. fake discount pages;
  10. phishing pages;
  11. unauthorized apps or browser extensions;
  12. unauthorized use of MRNMarket logos;
  13. and any conduct that confuses Users about source, sponsorship, affiliation, approval, or control.

10. Spam, Phishing, and Unauthorized Messaging

Affiliates must not use spam, phishing, unauthorized messaging, or unlawful marketing.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  1. unsolicited bulk email;
  2. unauthorized SMS;
  3. unauthorized messaging app campaigns;
  4. phishing messages;
  5. fake support messages;
  6. fake payment messages;
  7. fake verification messages;
  8. misleading subject lines;
  9. purchased email lists without lawful basis;
  10. scraped contact lists;
  11. failure to provide required opt-out mechanisms;
  12. failure to honor opt-outs;
  13. malware links;
  14. scam links;
  15. and violations of anti-spam, privacy, marketing, or platform rules.

11. Disclosure Violations

Affiliates must comply with the Affiliate Disclosure Guidelines.

Disclosure violations may include:

  1. failing to disclose affiliate compensation;
  2. hiding disclosures;
  3. using vague or unclear disclosures;
  4. placing disclosures only in hard-to-find locations;
  5. failing to disclose in videos, posts, emails, reviews, recommendations, or ads where required;
  6. claiming independence while receiving compensation;
  7. or misleading Users about compensation or relationship with MRNMarket.

Disclosure violations may result in commission denial, payout review, content correction, Account restriction, suspension, or termination.

12. Prohibited Product and Restricted Category Promotion

Affiliates must not promote:

  1. prohibited Products;
  2. restricted Products without approval;
  3. illegal services;
  4. unsafe Products;
  5. counterfeit Products;
  6. infringing Products;
  7. sanctioned activity;
  8. deceptive Listings;
  9. unlawful financial products;
  10. unauthorized health or medical claims;
  11. adult exploitation content;
  12. hate or extremist content;
  13. gambling where prohibited;
  14. or any activity prohibited by MRNMarket policies or applicable law.

Affiliates are responsible for reviewing promotional content and avoiding prohibited or restricted activity.

13. Data Misuse

Affiliates must not misuse Personal Data or tracking information.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  1. scraping Personal Data;
  2. buying unauthorized contact lists;
  3. selling User data;
  4. sharing User data without authorization;
  5. using User data for unrelated purposes;
  6. tracking Users unlawfully;
  7. misrepresenting tracking practices;
  8. using cookies without required consent;
  9. failing to honor privacy choices;
  10. combining data for unauthorized profiling;
  11. exposing User information;
  12. or violating privacy, data protection, marketing, or cookie laws.

14. Multiple Accounts and Circumvention

Affiliates must not create or use multiple accounts to avoid rules, restrictions, commission limits, verification, sanctions review, fraud review, payout holds, or enforcement actions.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  1. duplicate affiliate accounts;
  2. related accounts used to hide activity;
  3. false identities;
  4. fake business entities;
  5. account farming;
  6. reopening accounts after suspension;
  7. using proxies or VPNs to hide identity or location;
  8. concealing beneficial ownership;
  9. or using third parties to bypass restrictions.

15. Monitoring and Review

MRNMarket may monitor affiliate activity for fraud, abuse, invalid traffic, misleading promotion, brand misuse, disclosure failures, policy violations, and compliance concerns.

MRNMarket may review:

  1. referral activity;
  2. click patterns;
  3. traffic sources;
  4. conversion rates;
  5. refund rates;
  6. chargeback rates;
  7. account relationships;
  8. IP addresses;
  9. device information;
  10. affiliate links;
  11. landing pages;
  12. websites;
  13. ads;
  14. social media posts;
  15. email campaigns;
  16. messages;
  17. disclosure practices;
  18. brand usage;
  19. complaint history;
  20. payment information;
  21. payout information;
  22. and other relevant information.

MRNMarket may use manual, automated, or third-party tools to support affiliate fraud review.

16. Information Requests

MRNMarket may request information to review affiliate activity, including:

  1. traffic source details;
  2. screenshots;
  3. ad records;
  4. landing page links;
  5. website analytics;
  6. campaign reports;
  7. email samples;
  8. social media links;
  9. disclosure examples;
  10. payment or payout information;
  11. tax documents;
  12. identity or business verification documents;
  13. explanation of referral activity;
  14. proof of user consent where relevant;
  15. or other information needed for review.

Failure to provide requested information may result in commission denial, payout delay, payout hold, Account restriction, suspension, termination, or other Enforcement Action.

17. Commission Review, Denial, and Reversal

MRNMarket may deny, reverse, reduce, delay, hold, or withhold commissions where it determines or suspects that activity is invalid, abusive, fraudulent, prohibited, unsupported, or non-compliant.

Reasons may include:

  1. fake referrals;
  2. invalid traffic;
  3. prohibited traffic sources;
  4. cookie stuffing;
  5. forced clicks;
  6. hidden links;
  7. fake Orders;
  8. refunds;
  9. cancellations;
  10. chargebacks;
  11. misleading claims;
  12. disclosure violations;
  13. brand misuse;
  14. prohibited Product promotion;
  15. data misuse;
  16. multiple account abuse;
  17. verification issues;
  18. tax documentation issues;
  19. sanctions or compliance concerns;
  20. Payment Processor requirements;
  21. or violation of MRNMarket policies.

A pending, estimated, approved, or eligible commission does not guarantee payment.

18. Payout Holds

Affiliate payouts may be subject to review, hold, delay, reserve, restriction, offset, reversal, or denial where permitted by law and policy.

Reasons may include:

  1. fraud review;
  2. traffic review;
  3. commission eligibility review;
  4. refund or chargeback review;
  5. verification issues;
  6. missing tax documentation;
  7. sanctions screening;
  8. AML or compliance review;
  9. Payment Processor requirements;
  10. legal requirements;
  11. policy violations;
  12. account linkage;
  13. or platform risk management.

Payment Review and Release or Payment Holds do not mean MRNMarket acts as a bank, money transmitter, licensed escrow provider, payment processor, financial institution, custodian of funds, or financial adviser.

19. Enforcement Actions

MRNMarket may take Enforcement Actions for affiliate fraud, abuse, invalid activity, misleading promotion, disclosure violations, brand misuse, data misuse, prohibited promotion, or other violations.

Enforcement Actions may include:

  1. warning;
  2. request for correction;
  3. content removal request;
  4. link suspension;
  5. campaign restriction;
  6. commission denial;
  7. commission reversal;
  8. payout hold where permitted;
  9. payout denial where permitted;
  10. Account restriction;
  11. Account suspension;
  12. Account termination;
  13. loss of unpaid commissions where permitted;
  14. blocking traffic sources;
  15. reporting to Payment Processors, ad platforms, social platforms, hosting providers, domain registrars, regulators, law enforcement, rights owners, affected Users, or other relevant parties where permitted or required;
  16. record preservation;
  17. legal action;
  18. and other actions allowed by MRNMarket policies and applicable law.

MRNMarket is not required to take the same action in every case and may consider risk, severity, evidence, intent, history, legal obligations, brand harm, platform integrity, and business needs.

20. No Guarantee

MRNMarket may use policies, monitoring, tracking, fraud review, and enforcement processes to reduce affiliate fraud and abuse.

However, MRNMarket does not guarantee:

  1. detection of all fraud;
  2. detection of all invalid traffic;
  3. detection of all misleading promotions;
  4. prevention of affiliate abuse;
  5. tracking accuracy;
  6. commission approval;
  7. payout eligibility;
  8. payout timing;
  9. payout success;
  10. campaign availability;
  11. continued affiliate participation;
  12. or continued affiliate program operation.

21. Changes to This Policy

MRNMarket may update this Affiliate Fraud & Abuse Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Platform, affiliate program, fraud risks, advertising practices, Payment Processor requirements, privacy rules, legal requirements, risk controls, operational needs, or other policies.

Updated versions will be published on the Platform with a revised effective date or last updated date.

Continued affiliate participation after updates are published means the Affiliate acknowledges the updated Policy.

Where required by law, MRNMarket may provide additional notice or request consent for material changes.
